OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

One of the world’s most important financial centres, the development of Canary Wharf began in the 1980s. Although it was completed in 2011, East Wintergarden was part of the initial scheme designed by the renowned Argentine-American architect César Pelli, which included the iconic obelisk, One Canada Square, and the nearby Canary Wharf Underground station. Today, it is one of the most recognisable buildings on bankside, with floor-to-ceiling views over the water.

As well as serving residents of the area, the venue is well placed for international visitors from London City Airport, and exceptionally well connected within London. The completion of the Elizabeth line provides new, high-speed links to the City, connecting the two financial centres of London within minutes. Our venue managers are based onsite, providing on-the-ground knowledge of the Wharf and its wider locale of East London. We’re always happy to discuss our neighbourhood and make recommendations: give us a call.
